Higher Secondary School Certificate (Intermediate) with at least a 2nd Division is required to meet the educational requirements. Male applicants must meet the minimum height requirement of 5 feet 7 inches, per the Physical Requirements. Female candidates must be at least 5 feet 2 inches tall.
Both male and female candidates need to pass a physical examination (1.6 Kilometer Race). This physical examination must be completed by male applicants in 7 minutes and by female candidates in 10 minutes.
